Absolutely killer L.A/SoCal Punk comp along the lines of Posh Boy's legendary 'Beach Blvd' LP. 14 unreleased demo/studio tracks 1983-1986 from the San Gabriel Valley, mostly from bands of the Mad Parade stable. THE STEPS played bratty and snotty hard-edged punk/pop and produced a scarce, privately-distributed 7" in 1985 , MAD PARADE contribute five outtakes in their familiar anthemic O.C- meets-UK melodic style, whilst CHAINSAW POP from 1986 weigh in with three tracks of darkly-tinged melodic punk. Razorcake aptly called this "pure, undiluted thug-pop" and rightly point out that, had this been released back in the 80's at the time of it's recording, it would have had the collectors slobbering.
