Marco NFT's eldest son was set a second-year Graphic Design brief: make a fanzine. He chose police presence in punk from the 1970's to the present day.
He's not a punk himself, but he's grown up surrounded by it through me and has a deep respect for the culture. Add a few memorable run-ins with His Majesty's Constabulary over the years, and the subject practically chose itself.
What started as one publication quickly snowballed. Digging through thousands of his Dad's records, fanzines and books uncovered far more material than a single issue could hold. The result is Societal Scab: a series of 12 professionally printed, 40-page fanzines. The first six are available now, each limited to just 50 copies
