GENERAL SPEECH label 7"s: STALIN, EJACULATORS, VAXINE/LAST SURVIVORS

£9.50

- IGNORANTES Las Promesas Que Te Hacemos Te Las Puedes Meter Por El Culo

On this 7” we see Ignorantes taking a departure from their usual raw and noisy tupa-tupa style that made waves across the world, and delivering 2 songs that are totally rooted in a catchy mix of 70s punk, Oi, and even incorporating a keyboard, reminiscent of some of the more outsider KBD era singles. A brilliant record that doesn’t sit firmly in any one style, defies trends and proves there’s not really anything Ignorantes can’t excel at. Fans of Mexican bands like Dangerous Rhythm, Chilean skinheads Ocho Bolas, or any early Spanish language punk should find this irresistible

- THE STALIN Kubi Dake Atsureki EP

4 track unreleased studio EP recording from their Mushi era. The fact these tracks exist, and are as good and as high quality as they are truly the stuff dreams are made of if you are a fan of the Stalin. These aren’t demos, but full-fledged, intentionally recorded studio tracks that just never saw the light of day. This originally came out in 2023 in Japan to coincide with the 40th Anniversary of the Mushi LP, and sold out in mere hours, and remains prohibitively expensive on the second hand market. This is a one-time overseas pressing on General Speech, and includes identical artwork to the Japanese release, by Keizo Miyanishi who drew the cover of the Stalin’s “Trash” LP, and English liner notes from Inundow covering the discovery of these tracks. Truly essential to any fan of Japanese punk

- THE EJACULATORS Wank Generation

7" vinyl pressing of the quickly sold out tape release on General Speech. Degenerate and irreverent synth punk from Chicago, featuring members of Ignorantes and Mock Execution. There’s not many bands that sounds like this, but one could try to imagine a mix of The Spits, Mummies, and Chaotic Dischord. Catchy and simple, danceable punk, that maintains a true and honest punk rawness. Killer keyboards, memorable lyrics, and all the snot and cynicism you want from a real punk band

- VAXINE/THE LAST SURVIVORS Split EP

A perfect pairing of the globe’s top raw punk bands on this 5 track studio EP by Vaxine from NYC and The Last Survivors from Tokyo. 2 bands who live and breathe punk in the sense of it having always been a global community who are unafraid to mix influences, while always staying rooted in the classic punk feeling they love most. Kindred spirits if there ever were a pair, with both bands having members, who for decades, have been playing music heavily inspired by the UK82 sounds of bands on Riot City and No Future records, but played organically and honestly mixed with the sound of raw 80s global hardcore. This is the true definition of “Raw Punk”, and don’t let anyone with too many distortion pedals tell you otherwise

- TIKKERI- Punk On Rakkaus EP 9.50 (3)

New repress of the instantly sold out debut 7" by this Finnish band. Punk Is Love! Just for you, here's a love song (to '70s punk from Finland and the world over). Impossibly catchy punk rock for fans of classics like Kollaa Kestää, Vaavi, Sensuuri, Pelle Miljoona, and more. Tiikeri have wrapped up everything it feels like when you first discovered punk, wanted nothing more than to bounce around to the wild sounds coming out of your stereo, and if you suffer from a lack of pogo dancing, this record is the cure. A celebration of DIY punk down to its core. Comes in a fold out poster sleeve with a 16 page booklet
