DUST COLLECTOR, FRIGORA, S.K.V.: New General Speech LP"s
DUST COLLECTOR S/T LP
Dust Collector from Los Angeles have taken their time crafting a modern masterpiece. The result is 12 tracks of Disorder, Chaos UK, Gai, Swankys, and Confuse influenced noisepunk perfection. Where so many bands just crank the noise up as loud as possible, and pump out quick pogo inducing songs, Dust Collector have paid close attention to detail creating songs that are unique, memorable, have perfect production, and do justice to the bands that influenced them. Very much in the spirit of noisy bands like Lebenden Toten, Dust Collector seems to be focused on a recipe that is total quality over quantity, with no cut corners. If you are a fan of raw but catchy hardcore punk from any era, this LP has set the bar to a new height
Frigöra - Fullständig Frigörelse LP
Complete studio discography by this band who unleashed a total hardcore attack on Tokyo from 1995-1999. Where peers like Gloom, Life, and Collapse Society borrowed heavily from the crust end of the spectrum, Frigöra tapped into the raw and fast style of Swedish hardcore bands of the 80s like Mob 47, taking it to the next level with a power and ferocity that is still unmatched, paving the way for other noisy Swedish inspired bands like Ferocious X. Includes their self-titled 7”, Split 7” with Diskonto, “Dance of the Plague Bearer 12”, 3 unreleased tracks, and a booklet reproducing the art and lyrics from all the original releases
S.K.V. + CazU-23 - “転 – Marobashi” LP
Sakevi Yokoyama of G.I.S.M. builds on his legacy of experimental, noise, and avant garde music previously explored on such releases as the S.K.V. + Jojo “Mammilia” LP (1987), G.I.S.M.’s “SoniCrime TheRapy” (2002), and his solo album “The War” (2003). This time his voice joins CazU-23, a visionary guitarist who cut his teeth playing in Japanese HC bands like Blaze, Slowmotions, Sticks in Throat, and eventually in the final lineup of G.I.S.M. He currently plays in the revolutionary punk band Turtle Island in addition to his solo work. When G.I.S.M. geared up to play abroad in 2016, this solo work was used by Sakevi to train his vocals, and from that, this collaboration was born. “転 – Marobashi” presents an improvisational masterpiece, an organic swell of emotions both light and dark, and takes you on a journey showing the true power and artistic creativity of both of these creators. Extensive liner notes and history by Jojo Hiroshige (Hijokaidan / Alchemy Records), Naohiro Ukawa (Dommune / S.K.V. & G.I.S.M. VJ), and CazU-23 in English and Japanese
