Outrage were a confident bunch of 14 year-olds who formed in Sunderland in 1980 after their school hosted local upcoming punk bands Red Alert, Red London and The Rebels. In punk's DIY spirit, Red Alert not only offered them practice time, but a couple of songs and a support slot. Too young to play clubs/pubs, they gigged at local Youth clubs and community centres, finally recording one demo at Rochdale's Cargo Studios in 1984 before splitting up. 40 years on, that 4-track demo finally sees a vinyl release
