More NYC hardcore, and another ripper from Desolate Records, who seem to dig up the best in modern hardcore. Headsplitters rise above the standard USHC/D-beat cliches and come up with their own sound, which I would liken to the energy of pure early-80s hardcore before the metalheads ruined it, a touch of early Toxic Reasons/ Poison Idea and hints of Danish melodicism overladen with a genuine anger, as opposed to posturing, from the vocalist.
